Where Are You Going To Nurse Your Baby?

Something that lots of mothers invest in ready to look after their baby is a nursing chair. This chair rocks backwards and forwards to help you soothe your baby to sleep, and also gives you a convenient place to read to them and feed them. They are a good idea I agree, but they are also really expensive for such a specialized piece of furniture.

Instead of buying one of them then you might want to look at getting a normal wooden rocking chair, that way you can use it by yourself when your baby grows, but you can still rock them to sleep in it and feed them in it when they are young. The problem with buying things for your baby is that once you have used them they are only ever going to sell for a fraction of what you paid for them, and they will only last a year or so before you baby grows out of them and they turn into junk you have to store or try to sell. Another problem is that new parents are so excited about having a baby that they want to buy everything they can just in case their baby needs it, and they don’t care how much money they spend until the excitement wears off and the credit card company starts asking for their money back. So think long and hard before you make the big purchases and consider alternatives where you can.

Baby clothes are the worst purchases though, you will be shocked at just how quickly your baby grows out of them, so that expensive and adorable new outfit you bought them is only going to last a few months before it is consigned to the bottom drawer or you try to sell it. Instead of wasting your money just buy cheap baby clothes instead, they look adorable enough anyway without some exotic outfit on!
