What do you think of direct selling and having your own home based business?

chadsk asked:

Would you be interested if it was a really good product?
And it promised to make you a lot of money while helping a lot of people at the same time?

    Hon, don’t do it.
YOU r the one that’s being sold a bill of goods. So YOU made money for the person that turned you onto the “system”.

old saying:keep your money in your purse!

Sales people are some of the highest paid people in the country, and what could be better than working from home? I am one of those fortunate enough to work from home.

I would have to say it depends on what the product is, and who I’m helping. Is it some overpriced product that I can get at Wal-mart or other discount store at a better price? Who am I helping? Is my success predicated on signing up people under me in some sort of complicated matrix, that pays you a percentage on every level? Are they products I can sell in a retail environment?

You don’t provide enough information for me to make an intelligent decision, and based what I know about people who ask that question, my answer would have to be a resounding “NO, NO, NO”

The key to direct selling is to have a big network of friends, family and coworkers who would be interested in the product. There are people who do make a good honest living by direct selling. Make sure to do a lot of research before you invest anything. A good, reputable company will probably not make you put anything out of pocket. Check the BBB before making any decisions. Best of luck.

Well, gee…why would anyone with that product even want to sell it!
